Chemical‑cured natural rubber is produced through a controlled vulcanization process where curing agents such as sulfur, accelerators, and activators create permanent cross‑links between polyisoprene chains, transforming raw rubber from a soft, sticky material into a strong, elastic, and durable industrial elastomer. Chemical curing relies on precise combinations of sulfur, zinc oxide, stearic acid, and accelerators like MBT or CBS to optimize cure speed, cross‑link density, and final mechanical properties. This process dramatically improves tensile strength, elasticity, heat resistance, and long‑term stability. Chemical‑cured natural rubber is widely used in any applications where steam-cure is not viable, and cost is a consideration over pre-cured.
